Security

Successfully selling products or services online relies on good security measures. In this day and age your customers want to feel sure that their personal and financial information is not be shared with the outside world. E-Commerce security is not overly complicated, and it really comes down the proper amount of planning.

All of the E-Commerce systems we design and work share the same type of security measures. The technology used to accomplish that security may vary, but the result is still the same. Securing the data.

Web Browser Security

Any E-Commerce System worth it's weight in virtual salt will incorporate the use of SSL technology to secure the transmission of data from the client's browser to web server where your website reside. A digital certificate is used along with this to insure that the data is actually going from the browser to your company, and nowhere else. Customers look for this, and it is the first level of security that is configured.

Credit Card Information

Warding off credit card fraud is done simply by securing the credit card information as it passes from the web browser to your ordering system. This is where cryptography technologies such as PGP and Blowfish are used to encrypt the data into a form so it cannot be read. Our systems not only encrypt the credit card numbers, we store it in our databases that way.
